Dr.Rad (AKA Radecke) is a fellowship-trained Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgeon. He completed his fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He obtained both his BS in Biochemistry and a MS in Immunology and Molecular Biology from Clemson University. He went on to attend medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his surgical residency in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Rad is highly trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and utilizes it to treat many surgical diseases of the abdomen such as colon cancer, hernia surgery, and foregut surgery. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of obesity and has a passion for helping people eliminate the disease and the metabolic problems it causes. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. His passion is helping people eliminate obesity and regain their health.
